- Total hanging weight will be between 225-300 lbs.
- 7-8 cubic feet of freezer space needed
- Cost is $4.25 x hanging weight plus the cost of processing.
- Processing fees are not in our quote of cost per pound, and will be approximately $145.00 which will be paid directly to Four State Meat Processing.
- The average side of beef will render:
- 30%-40% roasts, stew meat and brisket
- 20%-30% steaks
- 35%-45% ground beef
